Ahmed Khan, a renowned Bollywood choreographer, director, and producer. He has collaborated with Anil Kapoor on several films, primarily as a choreographer. He worked on iconic movies like Taal (1999), Nayak: The Real Hero (2001), Wanted (2009), and Tezz (2012). Choreographing memorable dance sequences. While he has directed successful action films like Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3. Their long-standing association in Bollywood highlights Ahmed Khan’s expertise in dance and filmmaking.

Ahmed Khan on working with Anil Kapoor in Mr India

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, when Ahmed Khan was asked about the sets of Mr India he said, “When I did Mr. India Saroj Ji was the choreographer and she used to love me kyuki mai dancer tha, toh Anil Kapoor aaye ek din set pe and he wore a flowery shirt blue colour, naha ke he got off his Fiat and baal gele the sab yaad hai mujhe. Anil Kapoor came and he walked by, and he walked by aur shampoo ki smell, perfume ki smell fresh wesh, hum log bole yaar kya hai.”

Ahmed Khan further added how he became a fan of Anil Kapoor, he said, “Oh Venus, Tapan aur mai, teeno joh break dancer the baithe hai toh Venus, Juhu ka ladka tha, ‘Ay guys Anil is coming ha, you don’t need to meet him we’re also actors of the movie‘. Toh mai bola theek hai Venus, he came walking, ‘we are the actors ha halke me na lena humko’. Anil Kapoor came and he walked by, and he walked by aur shampoo ki smell, perfume ki smell fresh wesh. Hum log bole yaar kya hai, he came he looked at us, seedha he came to us he said you know how Anil talks na, ‘ay ay tum log, you kids are in the film na?”’Kids? Mai bola Venus kids! Toh mai bola ya, he said, “arey cute boys” aisa aisa kiya, mara gaal pe, baal pe haat faraye 2 seconds me he left. Toh hum log ka bhi hota hai na ki we’re actors. Hum stars hai woh pura nikal gaya, thank you uncle thank you uncle. Toh start  was this, toh we became Anil Kapoor ke fans. Then uske baad it was like ki yaar Anil Kapoor hai yaar.”

About Mr India

Mr. India (1987) is a classic Bollywood science-fiction action film directed by Shekhar Kapur and produced by Boney Kapoor. The film stars Anil Kapoor as Arun Verma, a kind-hearted man who discovers a device that grants him invisibility. Using this power, he fights against the evil villain Mogambo, played by Amrish Puri. Whose iconic dialogue “Mogambo khush hua!” became legendary.

The movie also features Sridevi in a memorable role as a journalist. Annu Kapoor and Satish Kaushik provide comic relief. Known for its engaging story, memorable characters, and hit songs like “Hawa Hawai”. The film became a cult favorite and remains one of Bollywood’s most beloved films.
